Pinpoint EA is an automated Scalping MT4 EA that is Free to Download. It has a 94% win rate and has never lost more than two trades in a row in 17 years of testing on the GBPUSD and EURUSD. executes 2-5 trades a day. It doesn’t open more than one trade at a time. A Stop Loss always protects all transactions, but it’s a big one. It can trade with a fixed lot or use an auto lot and increase the size of the transaction automatically according to the specified criteria.Pinpoint EA seems safe at first glance, but it changes the lot size to cover losses when Stop loss is hit. this wouldn’t be much of a problem if the stop loss is small, But in this EA case, it has a very high TP-to-Sl ratio on default settings, around 1:18. So if the Stop loss is hit next order lot size will be 18 times larger. This adds up fast if two orders hit Stop loss one after another, The next order will be 324 times larger than the first, and the subsequent 5832 so on and on(it has a max lot limit; still, this is dangerous).

So this method is basically martingale with a very high multiplier. According to the developer, It has a 94% win rate and has never lost more than two trades in a row in 17 years. If this is true, a lot multiplier wouldn’t be much of a problem. Personally, I wouldn’t trust it. Pinpoint EA can alter these settings or to turn them off in the input parameters. I recommend playing with these settings to find a less risky method. Disabling the lot multiplier would be a good place to start.

After a Long time of using this strategy, Blocking your account is inevitable. However, with the periodic withdrawal of investments, the theory of probability works in our favor. After the initial investment is withdrawn, this dangerous strategy immediately becomes break-even and even profitable.
